 The Interim Federal Dental Council is formed under the umbrella of Federal Health Professional Council led by Prof. Khin Maung Lwin. 

The council is mandated by the Federal Health Professional Council to issue Interim Federal Dental Licenses, perform registration of newly graduated dental surgeons, perform validation process for fellow dental surgeons who are applying for further studies or dental careers abroad.

    The Interim Federal Dental Council for dental surgeons in Myanmar has been formed since military coup of February 2021 by CDM dental surgeons and senior dental surgeons who are participating in defending the people from military dictatorship.  It has been established to serve and care for the welfare of dental healthcare workers during the interim period of the Spring Revolution and the transition period after the success of the Revolution. The council's Executive members include eminent professors, retired teachers and senior dental surgeons from various sectors of health care sector.  The council is mandated by the Federal Health Professional Council to issue Interim Federal Dental Licenses, perform registration of newly graduated dental surgeons, perform validation process for fellow dental surgeons who are applying for further studies or dental careers abroad.
